Options for Final Assessments and Grading

Dear Students:

We write to share with you that the UCLA Academic Senate has provided comprehensive guidance to instructors on grading and finals for fall 2022. The guidance includes information on final examinations, final papers and grading.

As you may be aware, on Nov. 29 UC announced that it has reached tentative agreements with postdoctoral scholars and academic researchers. Active negotiations continue with the other two bargaining units representing academic student employees and graduate student researchers.

We greatly value your educational experience at UCLA and we are hopeful that agreements with all bargaining units can be reached soon.
