Help Improve UCLA Processes with Bruin Process Flow
Dear Colleagues:
As a vital part of the UCLA community, your insights and engagement are key to driving meaningful improvements across our campus. While recent budgetary challenges highlight the urgency of this work, process improvement remains a constant priority for sustaining and advancing service excellence.
We are excited to officially launch Bruin Process Flow, UCLA’s new submission platform designed to empower UCLA employees to share ideas for enhancing processes university-wide.
This initiative supports UCLA’s Strategic Goal #5 — advancing institutional effectiveness through data-informed decision-making — and fosters a collaborative environment to identify opportunities, streamline workflows and improve services.
We invite you to submit ideas for process improvements — whether from areas you work in directly or have observed — where you see opportunities to enhance resource utilization, increase efficiency and deliver better outcomes for our campus community.
Every submission will be thoughtfully reviewed using an impact and feasibility framework. Selected ideas will move forward in partnership with the Organizational Effectiveness and Development (OED) team.

Your ideas matter. By working together as a campus community, we can reimagine and refine the way we work — building smarter, more efficient processes that support and strengthen UCLA’s mission while making our daily work more impactful and rewarding.
Thank you for your engagement in helping enable positive change.
