American Talent Initiative Faculty Committee
The American Talent Initiative Faculty Committee is charged to recommend, implement, and/or support and supplement existing campus initiatives that inspire and relate to first-generation and low-income students at UCLA. The goal of these projects or initiatives is to help close achievement gaps between groups in retention and time to degree. As needed, the committee consults with other faculty and campus offices and services on specific topics or for additional insight. The work of the group is primarily focused on the undergraduate experience (freshman and transfer) as part of the American Talent Initiative funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies.
