University-Hosted Web Statement Policy Committee
The University-Hosted Web Statement Policy Committee, charged by EVCP Darnell Hunt, will consider the development of a policy, based on existing principles and guidance, regarding the dissemination of statements in response to controversial or political matters on university-hosted websites and university-hosted social media accounts. The committee’s work will focus on providing clear guidance and supporting academic units. The draft policy will build upon the University Committee on Academic Freedom’s letter on this topic.
