Search/Advisory Committee: Dean of the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health

Dear Colleagues:

Given Dean Brookmeyer’s plans to step down in June 2026, a search/advisory committee has been assembled and charged with identifying candidates for the next dean of the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.

Paul H. Krebsbach, dean of the UCLA School of Dentistry, is chair of the committee. Other members are:

Roshan Bastani – distinguished professor of health policy and management
Kristen Choi – associate professor and Audrienne H. Moseley Chair in Nursing; associate professor of health policy and management
Michele Guindani – professor of biostatistics
Robert J. Kim-Farley – professor-in-residence, Departments of Epidemiology and Community Health Sciences
Gerardo Moreno – professor and chair of the Department of Family Medicine; Kaiser Permanente Endowed Professor of Community Medicine
Courtney S. Thomas Tobin – associate professor of community health sciences and African American studies; Associate Dean for Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion, FSPH
Yifang Zhu – professor of environmental health sciences

To enhance the search effort, we have retained an executive search firm, Isaacson, Miller, represented by consultants David Bellshaw, Silvia Cheng and Carley Davenport.
