Space Oversight Committee

The purposes of this committee are to implement senior leadership’s vision for UCLA’s long-term use of on- and off-campus space; to establish and/or monitor campus-wide guidelines regarding space-usage and requests for new space; to develop new policies and procedures to promote space governance based on best practices; to coordinate the collection of data regarding the usage of on- and off-campus space; to leverage analyses about UCLA’s capacity, cross-organizational space needs, and space productivity more generally to advise campus stakeholders on an ongoing basis; to evaluate and make efforts to maximize space-financing opportunities for UCLA; and to make recommendations on space use both on- and off-campus to the EVCP and VC CFO.
